Since we started the first UK Elvis Festival back in 1980, we have been at a number of locations around the UK….Hemsby, Camber Sands, Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Vauxhall and we’re now moving to a
new home in 2026, saying Farewell to Great Yarmouth and thanks for having us; but rather than outstay our welcome we feel it’s time for us to go. We need to explore some more.
On our radar for some time has been the lovely Victorian seaside resort of Hunstanton, ‘Sunny Hunny’ they call it and being towards the other
end of the Norfolk coastline it’s easier and closer to get to for fans travelling from the North, the Midlands and just about everywhere.

We’re also reverting back to our original 7-night Festival format so that the Festival doesn’t disappear in a weekend rush – instead you’ll have a full week to enjoy what we have planned for you.
We’re also pleased to say that with the exception of the privately owned units and some of the tourer pitches we have exclusively reserved the whole site for the Elvis Festival and once again arranged a fabulous entertainment programme for the Elvis Family.
We know that this will be a popular move to an amazing venue so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Searles Leisure Resort

Hunstanton
Hunstanton is one of Norfolk’s leading resorts and a popular destination for a perfect seaside holiday. Known for its long sandy beach, famously striped cliffs and for magnificent sunsets.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll along its sweeping promenade just yards from Searles Leisure Resort, explore this lovely Victorian town filled with fascinating shops and cafes, restaurants and quaint pubs. Step back in time with rides at the resort’s traditional fairground or enjoy a boat trip to see the seals.
 

How to get there
Hunstanton is situated on the North Norfolk coast just 16.5 miles east of Kings Lynn. There are regular train and coach services to Kings Lynn and a bus service operates between Kings Lynn and Hunstanton. We will be providing a free Elvis Shuttle coach service between Kings Lynn Railway/Bus Station and Searles Leisure Resort in the afternoon of Monday
21st September and the morning of Monday 28th September. If travelling by car then from the North your best approach would be via the A17 to Kings Lynn and then the A149 to Hunstanton, from the Midlands it is more likely to be via the A17 or the A47 and then on to the A149 and from the South, the A47 or the A10 before joining the A149.

ACCOMMODATION
Searles’ large site has a great range of Caravans and Lodges – and with varying prices according to size/facilities (many even have Hot Tubs!).
Although sold per Unit we have costed them on a per person basis so that you can see exactly what the week’s accommodation, facilities and entertainment is costing you. Prices start at just £198 per person sharing a 6 berth Classic Rio Caravan and increase according to the type and size of accommodation booked.
Please note that regardless of the size of the
accommodation booked we must have the
name of every person attending as we will
only be able to issue Entertainment Passes (wristbands) to those named. Because we expect the Festival to be ‘Sold Out’ no additional Passes will be issued and persons without a Pass will not be able to gain access to the entertainment.
 

IT’S FUN TO SHARE
The accommodation at Searles Leisure Resort is in high quality Caravans taking up to 6 people and Lodges taking up to 8 people, many with two bath or shower rooms and 2 toilets, and even the largest and most expensive of these will seem like a bargain if shared by lots of family or friends. If you’re interested in sharing perhaps we can help with our Festival Share Service whereby we will use a 3 bedroom/2-bathroom unit for just 2 persons – so each have their own bedroom, shower and toilet (with the 3rd bedroom merely
being used for storage – suitcases etc.) but they share the lounge and kitchen. This is similar to the Room Share Service that we offer on our overseas tours and which has not just saved fans lots of money but has helped form so many long-lasting friendships. WE’RE DOG FRIENDLY TOO!

You don’t have to be apart from your pet as subject to availability of designated accommodation you are welcome to bring your dog/s (maximum of two) for a nominal charge. Further details when booking.
 

PITCHES
If you wish to bring your Tourer, Motorhome or Tent then it’s even cheaper. Searles even have some Pods - basic but super-clean, warm and comfortable.

CHECKING IN AND CHECKING OUT

You are welcome to arrive earlier than the Check-in time of 4:00pm as the facilities of Searles Leisure Resort will be available to you from midday however our Entertainment Programme will not commence until 7:00pm on
the 21st September. We also ask that you checkout by 10:00am on the 28th September.
 

ACTIVITIES
In addition to our great Entertainment Programme there’s lots to participate in, learn to jive or stroll with Sheryl-Anne and Karl our popular Dance Instructors, join in the Strictly Elvis Choir or learn to play the Ukulele with Clare, relax and enjoy some fascinating illustrated talks with John, join in the fun of Quizzes with Steve, enter our Sports Competitions for darts, pool or even crazy golf, keep fit with some Aquarobics.
We also have our Elvis Marketplace, Gospel Service with the Reverend Derek, a Mega-Raffle and our Charity Auction.

EXCURSIONS

We’re even re-introducing some Excursions.
A right Royal Visit. 
Our coach will take you to the famous Sandringham Estate - the Royal Family’s Country retreat with its grand house, beautiful gardens, and deep connection to Queen Elizabeth II and now King Charles III.
Sandringham offers a rare glimpse into the more personal side of Royal life, a place where they spend Christmas together away from the pomp and ceremony of Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle. An opportunity for you to walk in the footsteps of Royalty.
There is a café, restaurant, and gift shops to enjoy as well as spectacular garden terraces anda museum which includes a collection of Royal vintage cars.
Join us on a Seal Safari to see one of the largest colonies of Common Seals in the UK currently over 3,000 seals. The Seal Safari Tour starts from the promenade where Wizzy The Wash Monster takes you across The Wash out to one of the sandbanks that are used by the resident population of seals – plus you’ll get to see Hunstanton from a completely different view – including the amazing striped cliffs. Remember your cameras!
Other things to do include taking a ride on our very own Elvis ‘Mystery Train’ from Searles Leisure Resort along the promenade, visit the popular Sea Life Centre, or take a drive along the North Norfolk coast through pretty villages and towns such as Wells-next-the-Sea to Sheringham where you can board a classic steam locomotive on ‘The Poppy Line’ that links the old seaport with historic Holt.

‘Son of Sun’ Jerry Phillips

Our special guest this year is Jerry Phillips. Jerry is the son of legendary record producer Sam Phillips, Jerry was a young boy when his father opened the Memphis Recording Service that would later evolve into Sun Records. He is the
inheritor of his father’s grand legacy in radio, music, and the recorded arts as well as his looks! Jerry now owns the Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis. Jerry grew up amid the huge pool of talent that Sun helped propel to stardom - at home and in the studio he was surrounded by the stars who made the music that became
the foundation of Rock & Roll; - Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and
Carl Perkins
You can imagine the many stories that Jerry has about his and his father’s - lives, and he’ll be sharing them exclusively for us at the Festival……

PRICES
Please note – the price you see is the price you pay. We do not believe in Fluid Pricing (where the prices can go up or down depending on availability) and the only proviso on this is Government dictated VAT or Fuel Increases which could affect prices. Accommodation prices are all per person based on the number of people sharing, except for Pitches and Pods which are based on and inclusive for 2 persons.

COURTESY
In our long experience the Elvis fans who attend our Festival don’t wish to see people in jumpsuits other than Elvis himself and so out of courtesy we operate a ‘no jumpsuit’ policy. Similarly, our event is to celebrate the life and music of Elvis Presley and we are happy that our bands were influenced by Elvis and will include a range of Elvis numbers but not to try to imitate him – which is why we do not use Elvis Impersonators or Elvis Tribute Artists for the Festival.
 

There is, and only ever will be, one Elvis Presley.
