ELVIS USA SPRING BREAK 2026

MEMPHIS & TUPELO

Saturday 18th April to Sunday 26th April 2016

MEMPHIS, TUPELO,

SEDONA,COTTONWOOD, PHOENIX & TUCSON

Saturday 18th April to Sunday 3rd May 2026

Our Elvis Spring Break has become one of our fastest growing Elvis tours to the USA, perhaps its popularity lies in the promise of good weather, pleasantly warm and never too cold, maybe it’s the convenience of avoiding the queues at Graceland or perhaps it’s just the great value that visiting in April brings whilst still enjoying a first class Elvis experience.

Whilst in Memphis we’ll stay at the luxurious Guest House at Graceland which neighbours the Graceland mansion. You will have a full unrushed day to explore Elvis’ home, the aircraft, exhibits and many museums. Ample time to enjoy an Elvis Travel Service speciality - our fully guided comprehensive tour of Memphis - the city that Elvis loved, taking in dozens of sights and enjoying exclusive access to many locations. But that’s not all, come with us as we pass from Tennessee into Mississippi to visit Elvis’ Birthplace and the many places in Tupelo that were so significant in Elvis’ young life. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.

Then, if time and finances allow, join us for an equally enjoyable extension tour – this time to Arizona where we’ll explore the filming location sites of Elvis’ movie ‘Stay Away Joe’ in Sedona and Cottonwood as well as the treat of visiting the little white chapel used in the movie ‘Charro’. But we couldn’t go all the way to Arizona without showing you the awesome scenery such as the stunningly beautiful red rock formations and including a ride on the Grand Canyon Railway to experience this incredible sight and to visit the ‘Wild West’ town of Tombstone.

Saddle up for a great adventure. What a ride!

Tour A. MEMPHIS & TUPELO

Day 1. Saturday 18th April 2026

Morning flight from London’s Heathrow Airport to the USA. As there are no direct flights from the UK to Memphis this will be via a ‘gateway’ airport where we’ll clear US Immigration and Customs before taking a connecting flight to Memphis where the waiting coach will transfer us to our magnificent hotel – The Guest House at Graceland. Evening free.

Day 2. Sunday 19th April
Enjoy a morning tour of the Graceland mansion, Elvis’ beloved home as well as viewing Presley Motors Car Museum, Elvis’ aircraft and the many other Elvis Exhibits within the Graceland complex. Perhaps stop for lunch at Gladys’ diner or an ice cream at Minnie Mae’s Sweets? Not forgetting time to browse at the many Elvis souvenir stores too!
Evening at leisure. Either dine in the hotel’s choice of restaurants or perhaps visit Marlowes, an Elvis themed restaurant nearby. Great food!

Day 3. Monday 20th April
Today we’ll show you the major tourist sights of Memphis and so much more as we explore Elvis’ life here. In the most comprehensive tour of Elvis’ Memphis, the city he loved, you’ll see where Elvis went to school, church, shopped, where else he lived, worked, recorded, performed and lots more - truly a day to remember. Included are tours of Sun Studio, Overton Park Shell and the Presley’s Lauderdale Courts apartment.
Still want more? Then this evening join your Tour Managers on a visit to the world famous Beale Street.

Day 4. & Day 5. Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd April
Two full days free. Why not take the Elvis Travel Service free Shuttle bus downtown to visit the beautiful Peabody Hotel to see the famous Duck Parade, visit the Rock & Soul or Cotton Museums, or take a stroll down to the mighty Mississippi River and even enjoy a sightseeing cruise for the best views of the impressive Memphis skyline. An alternative option would be to join our Optional tour to visit Jerry Lee Lewis’ Ranch. You can choose, safe in the knowledge that our Shuttle Bus is there to transport you safely and conveniently back to the hotel.

Day 6. Thursday 23rd April
Our coach journey takes us across the state line into Mississippi and on to Tupelo! Here we visit Elvis Presley’s Birthplace where you’ll be able to see the humble home where he was born, the Elvis Museum, the First Assembly of God Church, Memorial Chapel as well as the ‘Elvis at 13’ and ‘Becoming’ statues which are all situated within the Birthplace complex.
In the afternoon we take you on a guided tour of the places that were so significant in Elvis’ early life. You’ll see where he went to school, where he first got his passion for Gospel music, where he first appeared in public, where his mother Gladys bought him his first guitar and even where he stole his first kiss! Time too for some shopping in this, the friendliest town in ‘the Deep South’ before heading back to Memphis.

Day 7. Friday 24th April
So much to see and do, you may consider having lunch at the Arcade Restaurant – Elvis’ favourite, a thought-provoking visit to the Civil
Rights Museum or immerse yourself in the iconic sounds of soul music with a visit to the famous STAX Studio/Museum. And in addition to the free ‘Walk-ups’ to Graceland’s Meditation Garden you might want to take another tour of the mansion itself or peruse some of the Exhibits.

Day 8. Saturday 25th April
Morning free. Afternoon coach transfer to Memphis Airport to join the overnight flight to the UK.

Day 9. Sunday 26th April
Morning arrival into London Heathrow.

Tour B. MEMPHIS, TUPELO, SEDONA, PHOENIX & TUCSON

coach will take us through the amazing Arizona landscape to Sedona and our hotel – the Hotel Arabella.

Day 9. Sunday 26th April
Full day coach tour of the Elvis sights of Sedona and nearby Cottonwood. It was here that Elvis filmed ‘Stay Away Joe’ and many of that movie’s filming location sites are still in place. The scenery here is as amazing as it is contradictory, with towering red rock formations, vast forests and desert vistas stretching into the horizon. You’ll appreciate why it’s one of the most sought after places to live in the whole of the USA.

Day 10. Monday 27th April.
And if it’s scenery you’re after you’ll love our full day tour to one of the Wonders of the Natural World – the awesome Grand Canyon. Travelling by coach and train you’ll love the spectacular views of this phenomenon….and it’s included in your tour price!

Day 11. Tuesday 28th April
Morning free in Prescott – a fascinating town steeped in the history of the old Wild West. If you’re looking to buy a genuine cowboy/girl hat then this’ll be the place to get it – that’s before having a drink at The Palace, the oldest
saloon in Arizona where, back in the 1870’s Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday were ‘regulars’! Afternoon drive to Phoenix and our hotel – the
Hyatt Place, Mesa.

Day 12. Wednesday 29th April
A real treat this morning as we visit the Superstition Mountain Museum, home to the ‘Elvis Chapel’ – the pretty white chapel from
the Elvis movie Charro. The museum itself is fascinating as it tells of the myths and legends that gave the mountains their name whilst
filled with historic exhibits gleaned, from abandoned ghost towns plus the only two buildings that survived the fire in 2007 that destroyed the Apacheland Movie Ranch - the Elvis Chapel and the huge barn. Afternoon scenic drive along the Apache Trail and via the Goldfield Ghost Town to Mormon Flat Dam where we’ll enjoy a scenic cruise aboard the Dolly – a Mississippi style sightseeing vessel.

Evening at leisure.

Day 13. Thursday 30th April
Morning drive to Tucson where, before checking into our hotel, The Eddy by Hilton, we’ll explore the Elvis links to this city including
the venues he performed at. Remainder of the day at leisure to laze by the pool or visit the quirky shops along Fourth Street. Evening free.

Day 14. Friday 1st May
Full day free to enjoy the sights and sounds of Tucson or to take our unique included Excursion visiting Tombstone (Boot Hill) & Bisbee - the first being one of the most famous ‘Wild West’ towns in history and the second being one of the world’s most amazing (yet virtually unknown!) cities. When minerals were discovered here in 1877 no-one could have believed the amount of gold, silver, copper and lead deep below the prospectors feet. The town grew quickly and became prosperous with many fine Victorian buildings but when the seams ran out then so did the miners, leaving the city to an influx of more creative inhabitants – artists, musicians, writers and Bisbee remains to this day one of the most welcoming and fascinating of cities.

Day 15. Saturday 2nd May
Morning visit drive to Phoenix, the Arizona State Capital where there’s time for some sightseeing and to visit some more Elvis locations before transferring to Phoenix Airport for the overnight flight back to the UK.

Day 16. Sunday 3rd May

This is something that we regularly do and have found that long-lasting friendships are formed as a result. Should it not be possible to pair you up you would be offered single accommodation at the appropriate price.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is mandatory that all passengers have sufficient travel insurance. Cover is not effective until the premium has been paid and your application
approved by the insurers. If you are relying on travel insurance provided by your bank or credit card provider as part of their service please check that their cover is sufficient, in particular with regard to cancellation charges.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS
A full Electronic Passport (e-Passport) issued by the UK Government or a member state of the European Union and valid for at least 6 months after the date of return to the UK is required.
Visas are not required for the majority of British Citizens visiting the USA as there is a Visa Waiver ESTA (USA) system in place instead. To obtain an ESTA for the USA you should complete the Visa Waiver Form online at https://esta.cpb.dhs.gov/ at least 2 weeks before departure The cost is currently $21 (payable by Debit/Credit Card) and the ESTA is valid for 2 years or until the expiry of
your Passport.
If you do not have access to the internet or would prefer the Elvis Travel Service to apply for your ESTA on your behalf please contact us
on 01473 621 564 as we would be happy to do this for you. Holders of other Passports should consult the US for Visa or ESTA requirements.

CLIMATE AND CLOTHING
The weather in April in Memphis, Tupelo and Sedona is pleasant with minimum daytime temperatures in the 50°s Fahrenheit and a maximum high of 75°s Fahrenheit. Take layers and a light jacket for early mornings or evenings, a light pac-a-mac for any unexpected showers and a comfortable pair of shoes or trainers. Phoenix and Tucson will be warm, seeing highs of 86° and lows of 59° perfect for a dip in the hotel pool. Bring light, comfortable layers to take you through the heat of the day into the slightly cooler evenings We always advise passengers to wear sunscreen daily and to keep well hydrated. The USA is known for its informality and so nowhere (not even at these nice hotels!) are you expected to ‘dress-up’ – however there will be a few opportunities in the evenings for those who would wish to do so.

PAYMENT AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A payment of £1000 per person deposit is payable upon booking. Upon receipt of your deposit (and obviously subject to places being available) you will be sent a Confirmation-Invoice showing the balance due. A further payment of £1000 will be required by 1st October 2025 with the final balance due no later 15th January 2026.
